B4UBUILD.COM was featured in the December 1, 2003 edition of Business Week magazine in an article titled So You Want to Be Your Own Contractor by Kate Murphy as a Web site that has "[e]verything you ever wanted to know about building or remodeling a house." This site was cited as one of "[s]everal excellent Web sites [that] offer valuable information for the home builder or renovator..." in the book " From Sand Castles to Dream Houses" by Sheri Koones (a very good book by the way). Fine Homebuilding Magazine recommended B4UBUILD.COM to readers of their October/November 1998 issue. Builder Magazine selected it as one of their "Builder's Top 10 Industry Web Sites" and it is featured in the book " 300 Incredible Things for Home Improvement on the Internet." Called "the most informative" on the subject by Florida Today Newspaper, B4UBUILD.COM was presented with a 2002-2003 "Golden Web Award" by the International Association of Web Masters and Designers, a Top 100 Web Sites for 1998 award by Surfers Choice, a Best of the Planet People's Choice award, a Top Site award from Eye On The Web and the Real Estate Library's Pure Gold award. LôôkSmart called it a "Fantastic site", and it was rated "Excellent" by the International Real Estate Digest. |
[ Spears / Votta & Associates The SVA Web site has recently undergone a complete renovation, to include more high resolution project photos and job descriptions, but the instantly recognizable "blueprint design" is still the main focus of the site — and perhaps one of my best design ideas to date;-) |
[ Rebuilding Together Baltimore Hosting for their Web site is donated by QIS.net and all Web design and development services are donated by GS Design, Inc. |

His site has been redesigned to feature his most current work on the home page while retaining the main content of the previous design, which was in keeping with the theme of his earlier projects, wherever possible. In the spring of 2009, Paul began his latest project, a through-hike of the Appalachian Trail to raise money for Alzheimer's research and support. In order to keep his supporters informed, we setup a trail journal section on his site that uses a Word Press blog, which he is able to update from any computer with Internet access. |

[ Schuster Construction This site has recently been updated to include a local search engine that indexes both their concrete supply web site and their concrete construction sites so visitors have access to a cross-site results. [ Hereford High School Post Prom Party ] - information about the HHS Post Prom Party in 2005, 2006, 2007, and 2008. The event was held in the Hall behind the Hereford Volunteer Fire Department immediately following the Senior / Junior Prom in an effort to provide high school students with a safe atmosphere in which to have fun. All HHS Juniors and Seniors were welcome, regardless of whether they attended the Prom, and admission was free. Web development and hosting was donated by gs design, inc. for each of those years.
NOTE: In the fall of 2008, the HHS PTSA decided to discontinue our relationship. Accordingly, the site is no longer being donated to the PTSA. Instead, it is being converted into a public resource for others who might be planning their own after prom events while continuing to recognize the contributions of past volunteers, vendors and local sponsors for their generous donations. Thank you! |
[ Prettyboy Elementary School The original Web site featured scanned images of student artwork, transcribed original literary works, digital photos of special school events, and hand coded Web pages created by the 4th and 5th grade members of the Prettyboy Elementary School Computer Club, as well as, links to recommended resources for elementary school students, parents, and teachers. Unfortunately, a change in Baltimore County Public School policy, which disallowed the practice of parent volunteers managing school Web sites, has resulted in the disappearance of this award winning, educational resource. |
