The first pictures in this section are 3 different examples of exposed spiral metal ductwork. Used mostly in commercial HVAC applications, spiral ductwork is also used in residential applications when there is limited space for concealed ductwork. While all of these examples are painted bright colors, to help identify different areas of the school in which they are installed, painting exposed ductwork, pipes, and conduit, flat black or flat white can make them much less obvious. | |
