| This front gabled, gabled, gabled..... cedar sided home also has a prominent chimney on the front facade. While the design is somewhat interesting, all those roof valleys could very well cause a few maintanance problems. This roof not only concentrates a lot of water into small areas, it also needs to be regularly cleaned of snow, leaves, and ice dams to keep water freely flowing off and not into this house. Sometimes design should take a back seat to practicality. |
